Dr. Sarah Griffith Lund has dedicated her life to loving God and neighbor. As a minister and writer, Lund champions limitless inclusion; her grace in navigating difficult conversations about mental health has made her a vital advocacy voice in transforming our views on this once-taboo topic. Whether consulting for Sesame Street or serving on national boards such as Mental Health America and the national 988 text/call Lifeline, Sarah is committed to breaking silences and offering healing and hope. Sarah is the senior pastor of First Congregational of Indianapolis, IN and serves on the national staff of the United Church of Christ as Minister for Disabilities and Mental Health Justice. Sarah is the best-selling author of several books on the topic of faith and mental health: Blessed are the Crazy: Breaking the Silence About Mental Illness, Family, and Church; Blessed Union: Breaking the Silence About Mental Illness and Marriage; Blessed Youth: Breaking the Silence About Mental Illness with Children and Teens, Blessed Youth Survival Guide and Blessed Minds: Breaking the Silence about Neurodiversity, and Blessed Hope: 90 Daily Devotions for Mental Health and Faith.
