5 for 5 Offerings

Consider becoming a 5 for 5 church!

Being 5 for 5 is a simple but meaningful way congregations live into our covenant as the United Church of Christ. When a church gives to all five of the UCC’s special mission offerings, it says something important: we understand ourselves as part of something larger than our local setting, and we choose to show up for the wider church and the world.

These offerings support ministries of justice, compassion, leadership development, disaster response, and global partnership. They allow the UCC to respond quickly when communities are in crisis and to walk alongside partners working for dignity and hope every day.

No congregation gives in exactly the same way or at the same level, and that’s okay. What matters is the shared commitment to participate, to care, and to trust that together our gifts do more than any one of us could do alone.

If your congregation is already 5 for 5, thank you. Your faithfulness matters more than you know. If you’re not there yet, I invite you to consider whether this might be the season to take that step.
