Election Sabbath with Kansas Interfaith Action

Join Kansas Interfaith Action (KIFA) in a Election Sabbath this August.

Voting is a sacred duty, and we know that our values are on the line. Kansans of Faith must vote for our values in the upcoming primary election, so we're encouraging all of our partners and supporters to focus a portion of their worship services on August 1 & 2 on the importance of voting.

We're creating original liturgies and prayers written by KIFA folks and curating other resources from our many partners. We'll provide access to those resources by July 15.

You need not use the resources we provide to participate. And, you don't have to make voting the entire focus of your service. (although you certainly can!) It could be one element that fits into the larger whole of your day.

Can we count on you to get out the vote with us?  We'd like to have 30 congregations to join in with us, so please contact Mandy Todd, Director of Engagement & Development (mtodd@kansasinterfaithaction.org) to let us know that you are planning to participate. And be sure to take pictures/video so that we can show our collective support across the state.

Thanks for helping us to get out the vote on August 4!
