KO Holy Conversations

Holy Conversations are intimate gatherings among trusted friends, designed to foster connection, renewal, and purpose within the K-O Conference. These conversations began three years ago when the conference bylaws clarified that the wider K-O community should guide the board's focus each year.

These gatherings are a chance to connect for the first time or reconnect with others across Kansas and Oklahoma. You’ll be invited to a local church for a small group conversation led by skilled facilitators, aimed at strengthening the bonds that hold the United Church of Christ together. Afterward, you’ll share a meal, worship together, and perhaps explore the town or church you've visited. It's a powerful reminder that we are not alone in our love for humanity, the environment, and the world we share.

Holy Conversations will take place on weekends between August 23 and October 19

Conversations are taking place all over Kansas and Oklahoma, encouraging participants to visit other congregations rather than attend one hosted by their own. PRIORITY DEADLINE for registration is August 4.

With the 2025 Annual Meeting happening online, these in-person conversations are even more important. They’ll offer a foundation for continued connection, care, and communication well beyond the fall.
