A Farewell Word from Rev. Nikki Stahl

Dear Friends in the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference,

With both gratitude and a heavy heart, I am sharing the news that I will be stepping down as Associate Conference Minister of the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference, effective September 5, 2025.

Serving alongside you these past 16 months has been a profound blessing. I have witnessed your faithfulness, creativity, and commitment to Christ’s work in this corner of the Church, and I have grown in spirit and leadership because of our shared ministry. I will forever be grateful for the relationships built and the meaningful work we have accomplished together.

From an early age, my call has been to both motherhood and to ministry. Right now, there is a greater need for me as a mother. While this has been an incredibly difficult decision, I recognize that I cannot offer the full attention and energy this sacred call requires while also being fully present for my family and myself. There are things in my personal/family life that increasingly require more of my time and presence.

This is not an easy goodbye, nor is it one without sadness. Yet I trust that God’s Spirit is alive and at work in the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference, and I remain hopeful for the vibrant ministry that lies ahead. Though I step away from this role, I will carry you in my prayers and heart.

Thank you for the honor of serving among you, and for the compassion and support you have shown during this season. Most of all, thank you for your friendship.

With deep respect and gratitude,
Rev. Nikki Stahl
