It’s Not Too Late: Upcoming Anti-Bias/Anti-Racism Training – June 5–6 in Tulsa
All Authorized Ministers who do not currently hold Exempt Standing are required to complete Anti-Bias/Anti-Racism Training every three years. If you're due for renewal, the Kansas-Oklahoma Conference is offering two opportunities in 2025 to fulfill this requirement.
The first training opportunity will take place:
🗓 June 5–6, 2025
📍 Fellowship Congregational Church, Tulsa, OK
👩🏫 Led by Pastor Julia Gaughan
💵 Cost: $50
Thanks to a generous Brown Endowment Grant, the Conference is able to subsidize this training and an upcoming clergy retreat. For those who need accommodations, hotel lodging will be provided for the night of June 5. Dinner will be served on June 5, and lunch on June 6.
Please note: If you require a hotel, hotel arrangements will be your responsibility at this point. But it’s not too late to register for the June training!
📌 Click here to RSVP for the June training. The Conference will follow up with you regarding payment.
Can’t make it to Tulsa? A second ABAR training will be offered November 13–14, 2025, in Manhattan, KS.
If you’re unsure when you last completed this training, reach out to a member of COM-A for assistance.
