Love Knows No Borders - Conference Minister Advocacy in DC
The last week of October, Lorraine will be joining with Conference Ministers from across the UCC for a time of shared advocacy, witness, and truth-telling in Washington DC. They will gather under the theme, "Love Knows No Borders" and carry with them messages and stories from our congregations and members to the halls of the Capitol.
In preparation, we're asking our churches and members to share stories of how you are experiencing the impact of federal policies, and/or witnessing how these policies are impacting your neighbors. The theme of "Love Knows No Borders" is broad enough to include any stories where borders, boundaries, or barriers are getting in the way of God's love. Lorraine will take them to Washington D.C. to share with policymakers directly.
You can share your stories of impact in the following ways:
Download Files to Print: You can print your own postcards using the file at this link. You can also download Children's Coloring Sheets here. Then mail them to the conference or arrange to get them to Lorraine in some other way.

The Conference Minister's week in D.C. will culminate with a public witness and prayer service on October 29th to boldly proclaim a message of love and justice. Anyone in the area is invited to join in person, and all others are invited to join in spirit. More information about that should be coming out from the National Ministries of the UCC.
Over these next weeks, we ask for your support, your prayers, and your voices to accompany Rev. Dr. Lorraine Ceniceros and other Conference Ministers along this journey. Let us be the church for this time and this place, a church that loudly proclaims, "Love Knows No Borders!"
