Pride Month Photo Contest Results
The results are in! Here are the three photographs chosen for the Pride Month Photo Contest!! Thanks to all who participated. We love to see your fun, awareness, and advocacy during Pride Month. Keep it up all year, because Pride doesn’t stop on June 30th, it’s an all-year affair.
The first picture was submitted by Rev. Caela Simmons Wood (she/her) from First Congregational UCC of Manhattan, KS, at the Little Apple Pride on April 12, 2025. “Our congregation has been attending this event since its inception over a decade ago. It's always a joy!”
The next picture was submitted by Rev. Gage Church of Central Congregational Church in Topeka, KS, at the Drag Bingo event they hosted. The event was a huge success!
Last, but not least, is the photograph submitted by Rev. Kayla Bonewell on behalf of the four UCC churches in Oklahoma, OK, at the city’s Pride Parade on June 1st. “For the first time ever, all four UCC churches marched together at Pride, spreading the message of a Just and Loving World for All.” The churches are: Mayflower Congregational, Mosaic Community Church, Cathedral of Hope OKC, Church of the Open Arms.
